ProductClank supports multiple wallet connection methods for participating in auctions, receiving rewards, and interacting with smart contracts.
Supported Wallets
ProductClank supports various wallet types:
- Farcaster Frame SDK: Native wallet within Farcaster frames
- Privy: Embedded wallet and external wallet support
- MetaMask: Browser extension wallet
- WalletConnect: Mobile wallet connections
- Coinbase Wallet: Coinbase wallet integration
Connection Methods
Farcaster Frame SDK
For users within Farcaster frames:
- Automatic wallet connection via Frame SDK
- No additional setup required
- Seamless experience within Farcaster
Privy Integration
For web users, Privy provides:
- Embedded Wallets: Create wallet without extension
- External Wallets: Connect existing wallets
- Social Login: Email or social account options
- Multi-Chain: Support for multiple networks
Connecting Your Wallet
- Click "Connect Wallet" button
- Choose your preferred connection method
- Approve the connection request
- Your wallet is now connected
Wallet Requirements
To participate in auctions, you need:
- USDC Balance: Sufficient USDC for bidding
- Network: Wallet connected to Base network
- Approval: USDC spending approved for auction contract
Approving USDC Spending
Before bidding, approve the auction contract to spend your USDC:
- Navigate to auction page
- Click "Join Auction"
- Approve USDC spending (first time only)
- Confirm transaction
- You can now place bids
Troubleshooting
- Connection Issues: Refresh page and try again
- Wrong Network: Switch to Base network
- Insufficient Balance: Add USDC to your wallet
- Approval Failed: Check gas fees and try again
