Leaderboard Types

Builders Leaderboard

Tracks builders based on their product performance:

  • Product Submissions: Points for submitting products
  • Believer Count: Points based on number of believers
  • Campaign Creation: Points for creating campaigns
  • Auction Participation: Points for participating in auctions

The builder leaderboard shows a hierarchical view:

  • Level 1: User with combined points from all products
  • Level 2: Individual products (expandable)
  • Level 3: Point types per product (expandable)
  • Level 4: Detailed event breakdown

Believers Leaderboard

Tracks users based on their engagement activities:

  • Voting: Points for believing in products
  • Campaign Participation: Points for completing action items
  • Social Sharing: Points for sharing products
  • Community Engagement: Points for various interactions

Combined Leaderboard

A weighted leaderboard that combines builder and believer activities:

  • Configurable Split: Percentage allocation between builders and believers
  • Fair Distribution: Users get percentage share of their category's allocation
  • Prevents Gaming: Weighted calculations prevent manipulation

Points System

Points are calculated based on:

  • Activity Type: Different actions have different point values
  • Time Decay: Recent activity may be weighted more heavily
  • Quality: Some activities may have quality multipliers
  • Milestones: Bonus points for reaching participation milestones

Weighted Allocation Example

Example configuration:

  • Total Pool: 1,000,000 points
  • Builders: 80% (800,000 pts)
  • Believers: 20% (200,000 pts)

If a user has:

  • Builder activity: 10,000 pts (10% of 100k total) → 10% × 800k = 80,000 weighted
  • Believer activity: 10,000 pts (2% of 500k total) → 2% × 200k = 4,000 weighted
  • Total: 84,000 points
