Campaign Creation

Campaigns are powerful tools for driving engagement and building your community. Learn how to create effective campaigns that motivate users to take action.

Campaign Basics

A campaign consists of:

  • Reward Pool: Total tokens or rewards to distribute
  • Action Items: Tasks users must complete
  • Duration: Start and end dates
  • Distribution Method: How rewards are allocated

Creating a Campaign

Step 1: Select Your Product

Choose the product associated with this campaign. You can only create campaigns for products you own.

Step 2: Set Reward Details

  • Total Reward Amount: Total tokens or value to distribute
  • Token Type: USDC, native tokens, or other ERC-20 tokens
  • Distribution Method:
    • Per-action: Fixed amount per completed action
    • Raffle: Random selection from participants
    • Weighted: Based on participation level

Step 3: Define Action Items

Create clear, actionable tasks for users:

  • Follow on Twitter: Link to your Twitter profile
  • Join Discord: Discord server invite link
  • Sign Up: Link to waitlist or signup page
  • Share Product: Social sharing action
  • Complete Survey: Link to survey or form
  • Custom Actions: Define your own action items

Step 4: Set Campaign Duration

  • Start Date: When the campaign becomes active
  • End Date: When the campaign closes
  • Duration: Typically 1-4 weeks for best engagement

Step 5: Review and Launch

Before launching, review:

  • All information is accurate
  • Links are working
  • Reward amounts are appropriate
  • Action items are clear and achievable

Campaign Best Practices

Reward Strategy

  • Offer competitive rewards to attract participants
  • Balance reward amount with expected participation
  • Consider milestone bonuses for high engagement
  • Ensure you have sufficient funds for distribution

Action Item Design

  • Keep actions simple and clear
  • Require proof when necessary (screenshots, links)
  • Mix easy and challenging actions
  • Make actions valuable for both you and users

Timing

  • Launch when you can actively promote it
  • Run campaigns for 1-4 weeks typically
  • Avoid overlapping too many campaigns
  • Consider seasonal timing for relevance

Managing Active Campaigns

Once your campaign is live:

  • Monitor participation and engagement
  • Approve or reject action submissions
  • Respond to user questions
  • Promote the campaign through your channels

Campaign Completion

When your campaign ends:

  1. Review all submissions
  2. Approve valid action completions
  3. Select winners (if using raffle method)
  4. Distribute rewards
  5. Thank participants and share results
