The week has a rhythm
Membership isn't a desk rental. Something is on most days — some of it work, most of it the reason people stay for the winter.
Week kickoff — What everyone is shipping this week — five minutes each, then the room goes quiet.
Portuguese class — Beginners and improvers, taught by a local teacher. Being a guest here is optional; staying one isn't.
Guest lecture — A founder, researcher or operator on what they are actually building — and what broke.
Rooftop yoga — Before the laptops open.
Build night — One sitting, one small thing shipped. Pizza, and someone three desks away who has done it before.
Demo Friday — Show the room what you made this week. Wine included, slides discouraged.
Surf run — Members' van to whichever beach is working that morning.
The long lunch — Unstructured, optional, and usually the best conversation of the week.
